about
It’s an ode to social media stalking. The spark for this song came from a note on my collaborator Philly’s phone - “you’re always in my search bar”. We’ve all done it - looking up an ex, a crush, an old friend etc. and digging into the depths of their online presence to find any little thing we can hold on to. It represents the inability to let go of someone and then being reminded of this every time you see your search history. A 21st century conundrum.
